School ANZAC Parade

On Thursday 23 April the school commemorated Anzac Day with an address by Francis Cooper-Mackenzie, veteran and author, who presented the school and Clifton Historical Society with his work on Victor Denton.

The service of three local volunteers who landed on the Gallipoli Peninsula on Sunday 25th April 1915 was shared by Miss Miller on behalf of the school's History Project.

Mr Joffre Bell, returned service man and son of O. B Bell who also served at Gallipoli, and Mr Neil Denton, returned serviceman and grand nephew of Victor Denton, laid wreaths and planted a commemorative bottle tree on behalf of soldiers' families.
