On the 4th June, students successfully participated in the Year 10 First Impressions Day. This training workshop, delivered by trainers from June Dally-Watkins Education and Training focussed on personal presentation, grooming and etiquette skills to prepare students for their first block of work experience. Students gained important skills such as top skincare tips for men, how to tie a tie and shaving tips, and for the girls, how much makeup is too much and professional hair styling. All students participated wholeheartedly and it was an informative and valuable day.
Students were able to put their new found skills to the test at a three course luncheon where they were joined by school staff and members of industry who kindly gave of their time to support our students.
