Our Special Education Program (SEP) has a long and proud history at Clifton High School, with a team of dedicated staff working together to ensure great outcomes for our students. We have a school based HOSES, SEP teachers and support staff who assist in the creation of individual programs, monitoring and assisting classroom teachers, to make suitable adjustments. A dedicated SEP area, consisting of modern, accessible classrooms, kitchen and laundry facilities provides a practical learning environment for students and allows Clifton State High School to offer small individualised classes in core subjects.
We pride ourselves on getting to know our students, their strengths and weaknesses and planning curriculum that suits their individual needs. Students within the SEP have access to a range of support; from simple check ins with their Case Manager right through to specialised small Special Education Classes focusing on Literacy, Numeracy and Social Skills, along with, a focus on the world of work and transitioning to life after school, in the Senior years.
For further information about our Special Education Program, please contact the HOSES through the school office.
